Mr X Friday golf bets

So this weeks PGA Tour event is the Travelers Championship. Yesterday the field started strong with some low scoring opening rounds.

One player I was most impressed with was Fredrik Jacobson, He continued his form from the US Open into this week and shot -5. He had a chance to finsih -7/-8 but a double bogey on the 3rd last hole.

Johnson/Stanley/Jacobson – my bet today is in the 3 ball market and I’m back Jacobson @ 13/10 to continue he’s good spell and take advantage of the early morning weather and shoot a low round.

Another 3 ball I like is…

Henry/Jobe/Duke - Ken Duke has been a player who came out of nowhere this year. He’s playing some solid golf in these sort of events he is -3 after the opening round. What I like in Ken is that he sinks 20ft putts which is great for backing him. A good short game will win you money.

Im staying away from the big names like Bubba, The pairings are tough and even tho he played solid yesterday he’s the type of player that could shot a low round of a a high round he’s not the most consistant player which is a nightmare for bettors.
